Comment 15 for bug 576352

I've tried everything with newer mainline kernels and nothing fixes the problem. I have also seen this happen on Eee Pc as well which is completely different hardware (not to mention thousands of posts on the forums and elsewhere seeing the same problem). It seems there is a major bug in more recent versions of the Linux kernel.

But I need to use my computer to do something useful so have now reinstalled 9.10 as this is at least a stable usable release for me. This means I'm no longer easily able to offer any more information on this bug now that I've downgraded. Hopefully, others will be able to stick with it longer than I did and can offer more information when required....
