I tried the latest kernel available :
uname -a
Linux francoisTest-laptop 2.6.34-020634rc5-generic #020634rc5 SMP Tue Apr 20 10:07:04 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

=> Same behaviour
=> The "noapic" kernel option solved the problem.
