I have Dell N5110 (Dell Inspiron 15R) and unfortunately your driver doesn't work for me :(
Ubuntu 11.04 amd64

After installing 0.6 version
sudo rmmod psmouse
sudo modprobe psmouse
dmesg:

Tried to dump with your tool: sudo ./alps-reg-dump
Found serio mouse at /sys/bus/serio/devices/serio1/
E7 report: 73 03 50
Not a v3 ALPS touchpad

Do you need some more information? What can I do to help you get it work?
