thank you for the reminder. I have progressed quite a bit beyond Lucid since I reported the bug, and I don't have the hardware that I used to test Lucid on anymore.

For what it's worth, I also have a suspicion that the problem in question was caused by the USB 3.0 adapter card from Western Digital, and not the operating system, but that is hard to say anything about at this point.
