still no luck: 2.6.35-22-generic (ubuntu 10.10)
some X1400 in a Toshiba Satellite A100 that needs _toshiba_ drivers for XP (win7 has drivers included) catalyst did not support this X1400

-nomodeset works, but unity is broken
-kms produces a black screen with some horizontal gray lines after one or two minutes (or even >10 minutes sometimes)

how can I produce usefull data for a bug report?
