This bug is happening on my system too.

I am running ubuntu oneiric with latest updates. My sound does work, but sometimes the machine locks on bootup with the "spurious" messages flooding my screen, most of the time it boots proplery but slowly.

I also believe this to be an IRQ issue, but I do not know how to solve it.
