I have the same problem with lucid alpha 3.
When I pressed in "try ubuntu without installing" the screen go to "no signal". I think is a problem with the default graphic card output (I have DVI connected instead of VGA to my monitor). After some seconds I can hear the default Ubuntu system sound, but the screen Is still in "no signal"
The problem is that I don't have any VGA cable in this moment and I can't test VGA output.
Is there any alternative boot option to enable DVI output?
