Comment 20 for bug 528277

I have the same problem. I used lucid March 20 daily build. I have tried a number of the workarounds I have found on the net with no success. I have Dell 4600i mobo with 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller. I am using an older model Adtec LCD monitor that only goes 1024x768 @75hz. l lose the signal about 7 secs after I click run live cd. Is there a boot option that will force the monitor to run at 75hz? I didn't have this problem with 8.04. It started for me with 8.10.
