I also have the same problem on my MSI vr610 notebook using an AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 CPU. I am going to try the patches an hope that I can give some positive feedback. I also had the same problem with jaunty, think it is still not solved. Could someone tell me what the MCE is good for? What are the disadvantages of disabling the MCE?
