@Manoj: I tested your amd64 kernel, and it works on a Toshiba U400 with the option ectype=14.
The bluetooth module appears and is fully functional (I succesfully synced my agenda with my phone over Bluetooth).
I also tried to install your ppa package, but it is broken: it does not contain the source files and DKMS thus complains it cannot build the package.
