Nope, this is not a duplicate, and assuming bug #417757 will also fix this is a bug that will be missed!

#417757 has different symptoms and is very 'DNS centric'. This is about general poor performance of wireless vs Jaunty. Just because the workaround(s) in #417757 work for you, don't assume it's the right solution for the rest of us. Because, well. They haven't worked so far.
