did a fresh installation on my Acer Extensa 4630Z Laptop and it would not detect/mount usb storage devices (eg. USB drive, External hard-drive etc) but the other usb devices work fine! The devices show-up in the disk utility but give "No Media Detected" message. Restarting udev would solve the problem temporarily though.
