I can confirm that the "noserverinfo" worked for me as well.

Linux version 2.6.31-20-generic (buildd@crested) (gcc version 4.4.1 (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8) )

I use my laptop in many different environments accessing NTFS shares on servers and workstations as well as a home CoolNAS (bare embedded solaris NAS with 250GB internal drive)

Initial access to the mount without the "noserverinfo" option resulted in a blank window but subfolders could be accessed, if known. With the option, mount appears as it normally should.

Thanks guys, I hope a fix is not too difficult. I've seen many "bugs" that the noserverinfo option has fixed.
