Comment 70 for bug 406466

I can also confirm this bug also effects me, I went from having this line in my fstab:-

//192.168.16.50/share/documents /mnt/documents cifs guest 0 0

to

//192.168.16.50/share/documents /mnt/documents cifs nounix,noserverino,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,guest 0 0

But however now when iam doing a sync between our remote sites with exactually the same setup instead of 10 sites taking 20 minutes to be checked this is now taking over an hour using rsync.

Can anyone help me speed this backup? They are all NAS boxes with no permissions a Buffalo Drivestation.
