With Ubuntu 9.10/karmic on Samsung Q1U which have a VGA output, Xorg doesn't start:
[drm:intelfb_restore] *ERROR* Failed to restore crtc configuration: -22
Workaround:
Add i915.modeset=0 to the kernel cmdline args
