i can test it for you; i have a CANYON mp3 player 1G seen as ALI CORP in lsusb
i have Ubuntu 10.04/amd64;

i can do the following tasks:
-browse
-delete
-read
-create folders
-create empty files and modifying them (adding 78Mb text inside of them + save with gedit)

i can't copy - paste/drag - drop with nautilus audio / other files

i'we disabled usb2 inside BIOS and i could write some music on the device but it had gaps(i heard them listening to media player) - i think it copied it with errors
i can use it with full functionality with win xp sp3; win7 has the same bug as ubuntu
the media player device is a usb 2 device i think (i can read files at ~ 5Mb and write at ~1Mb)

i'll keep looking for a solution for this problem an for softare disable ehci_hcd driver...
