"CONFIG_WIRELESS_OLD_REGULATORY=y (no CRDA)" Thanks Alson, that is exactly the kernel config change I was referring to. It seems that this and therefore the CRDA stuff has been implemented before a method of switching domains has been implemented to support this change!
