I have similar issue using intrepid with last kernel 22.6.27-10-generic iwl3945

But if I disable wireless at nm-applet then reload (remove | add) the module iwl3945 then enable wireless and connect to the wireless ,it works ok and no more dmesg of the iwl3945.
