So Do I... The UI is very important and if we want Ubuntu to gain more popularity, problems like this should be fixed urgently. Even that crappy OS , windows 7, has a nice interface with no bugs. A home user will appreciate a well-made UI which does not have any problems.

I have to agree with Casey on this. I think UI usability is absolutely crucial to getting more users and this is elementary.
