Aha, so it is a regression. Then could I have an alsa-info ( http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo ) from the same machine, both when it is working under 10.04 and when it is non-working under 10.10? I'll then try to see if there are any differences that can hint the problem. Thanks in advance!
