I do not have this problem...
My nsswitch.conf looks like: passwd: files ldap group: files ldap shadow: files ldap
my user only exists in LDAP, but is mentionned in /etc/group (sudo group)
sudoers shows: %sudo ALL=(ALL) ALL
then: $ sudo uname -a Linux dgeos 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:05:01 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I did not notice this particular bug before...
I did last upgrade this morning...
