The upgrade will continue but the package linux-image-
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2

It is tempting to upgrade to Ubuntu LTS version 10.04.2 to 10.10 I encounter several problems. 2.6.35- 25-generic
When I enter the command line : ubuntu-bug linux-image-
This program is not responding after ticking the appropriate boxes in succession box.
I am forced to use the manual method.
