Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

I have an Acer Aspire One, model AO715h. It uses Intel GMA500 chipset, called poulsbo. The native screen resolution is 1366x768 widescreen, but on default installation I can`t set a higher 1024x840 4:3 resolution. Video performance is extremely poor and slow. It`s necessary to add third party ppa repository to have a minimum satisfactory video performance.

Thanks for reporting this bug! I'm experiencing this problem in Lucid as well. I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of a previously reported bug about Acer AO751h under Karmic to keep the discussion in one place.
