Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
Found in Lucid Lynx Alpha 1.
Sorry if I have missed something obvious, but I find it difficult, nearly impossible, to use the gdm greeter without using the mouse if I want to change any of the settings (change language or session type, e.g.). The problem is that there is no natural way to return keyboard focus to the login area, because there are no accelerator keys for the Password field and the Login button.
How to reproduce (using the keyboard):
1) Choose your login name and enter your password.
2) Jump to the Session field.
3) Now try to login, without using the mouse!
Expected behavior: There should be a natural way to jump to the login area, or there should be an accelerator key that would trigger the Login button, or an accelerator to activate the Password field. Alternatively, the login panel should be part of the tab chain.
Actual behavior: Tabbing only moves keyboard focus round in the bottom panel. Enter will activate the currently focused element. Only by chance will one be able to login.
100 % reproducible.

With the current gdm it is no longer possible to move to the Session selector without using the mouse, so this bug is perhaps no longer valid.
