Do you have non-ascii chars in your volume name? That might be causing the problem.

I use WinXP SP3 chinese edtion.But wubi.exe in Ubuntu 8.10 CD image can run correctly.I mount 9.04 CD image as a virtual cdrom(same as 8.10).

Yes , I changed all vlolume names to ascii, wubi can run now.Thank you.
