Bug Description

Migration-Assistant in Wubi doesn't seem to transfer any settings.

I have a test machine setup specifically for running these tests that includes: Xp MCE, IE favourites, Outlook Express with mail setup etc.

None of which are transferred to the Wubi install but are in a standard install when Migration-Assistant kicks in.

davmor2, could you please run Wubi in verbose mode and get the logs then?

Agostino that was. I ran wubi and as soon as I got the start of the boot process I hit ESC and selected run in verbose mode (or whatever it says) and then continued from there.

In newer Ubuntu versions migration-assistent was dropped, so I'm closing this bug.
