Comment 67 for bug 204133

It might be difficult to reproduce the original bug (and not that relevant for 8.04.2 because the new syncio option enabled by the cking patch will not be used in practice in 8.04). IMO it is important to test that the new ntfs package does not introduce any regression in normal usage, when mounting with and without "-o syncio". To do that, see:
