Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
Like the summary says, linux 2.6.31-rc1 removed the old net_device api so the source needs an update to compile against it. It is fixed in SVN and the patch attached to this bug works as well for me on 2.2.4.

this is the patch added to dkms on vboxnetflt-2.2.4, as mentioned above, this should be fixed on the next virtualbox release anyway
