Editing contacts on web UI creates blank contact fields on iPhone after sync

Bug Description
I had an empty contact list on Ubuntu One, I installed the iPhone App and used two-way sync to upload my iPhone contacts.
To get the app working I was directed to https:/
They were successfully uploaded and I proceeded to edit a few of them to add relevant details for IM (MSN) and a URL or two using the web UI, running in Chrome under Windows XP. Once I sync'd them to my phone again I found that empty profile fields had appeared on the contacts I'd edited.
The profile fields that appeared were blank address fields for "Home", "Other", and "Work".

It's not a problem of the web ui but of the iPhone client, it's been reported upstream.
