Files not showing up on web UI

Bug Description

I have the same problem as MikeR (https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+question/82197) with uploaded files not showing online (even after a few hours). The folders copied-pasted into the UbuntuOne folder on my Xubuntu 9.04 machine shows online but when you click on them to open the folders nothing happens (presumably you need to click the folders to check the contents and not do some other funny action to open them?).

Can you please provide a bit more information that will help us troubleshoot this further?

1) Run the following command from a terminal session: apport-collect -p ubuntuone-client 430800
2) Attach ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log to this bug report
3
) Update to the latest client (released today)

Note that attaching syncdaemon.log will show filenames you are attempting to sync with Ubuntu One. If you do not want this to be public, please mark the bug as private and this bug report will only be available to you and the Ubuntu One team.

Hi,

It seems to have sorted itself out with the latest round of updates. I tested it by adding a new file to the Ubuntu One folder and it showed up one online soon after and I could download it fine. You can close the bug I reckon, unless you want me to send you the information anyway, just to check?

Hello everyone,

I am still having the same problem where files don't show up in the web UI. The only thing that shows up are the directories I uploaded. I am running Ubuntu 9.10. I want to do the steps listed in post 1 so I can help you guys out, but I have a few questions:

-Which level of access should I grant apport-collect?
-I think the link to the bug report is the wrong one. It is linking to a bug in Launchpad Translations.
-How can I update the client? Can I try updating though synaptic?
