Bug Description

Installed UbuntuOne on laptop on Friday. Copied 1.7 gigs worth of documents to the My Files folder. It began syncing but at a very very slow rate (about 10-20 kB/s, when my laptop was plugged into a .edu LAN which I speedtested at 20mB/s down, 3 mB/s up).

I left it to completely sync up over the weekend.

Now I am back at the laptop on Monday, it did not upload very much more, if any, than what was done on Friday (only 356.7 megs are viewable in the Web UI).

The UbuntuOne applet was still spinning, but no data was being transfered.

I killed the syncdaemon and the applet, and started UbuntuOne again from the menu. It has not synced up anymore data to the U1 servers than what was there last Friday.

So now I still have the 1.7 gigs of files in the My Files folder and only 356.7 megs on the U1 servers.

I've subscribed to this bug.
I just added Ubuntuone to a laptop and have authorized it to my pre-existing UbuntuOne account that has about 175MB of documents uploaded.

I've connected alright and already have a filled out directory structure mainly consisting of 0KB files. I've used the System Monitor to watch my network activity and I've noticed it is mainly 0KBPS and then a short burst of download (usually correlating to a single file) and then back to 0 for a long while...

At this rate it will take a significant amount of time to download this mere 175MB of files.

I hope this contributes to the logs already uploaded by the bug owner.
