Hi jani,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

I remember this happened during 9.04 or 8.10 development but was fixed by release. I am not sure if I filed a bug then, I could not find it.

This is a clean Karmic alpha 5 install, not an upgrade. xorg.conf is the minimal one autogenerated by screen-resolution-extra to add Virtual the for two monitor setup.
