flashing systray icon is not beautiful

Binary package hint: xchat

Hi,

I am running hardy, xchat version 2.8.4-0ubuntu6.

I find the tray icon that flashes when someone says my nick
to be very unappealing. I think it would be great if a skilled artist
could go over these alternate icons (the contents of src/pixmaps/)
and make them beautiful.

Maybe somone likes the flashing icon as is, but I agree 100%.

New icons for the extra alerts were added in 2.8.8, however due to Ubuntu no longer liking the system tray up there, and it still not using the icons as specified by the theme, not entirely sure what Ubuntu would want this status updated as. But the wishlist item as reported on 2008-02-26 has been fixed and is available for maverick.
