Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I just upgraded to Lucid. Now nautilus tries to open .exe files with file roller instead of wine. Ironically, the icon for the file is a wine glass, which indicates that some part of nautilus has correctly identified the file type, just not all of it.

Confirmed in Maverick with newest WINE. The next step is to perform a bug search for this problem upstream http://bugs.winehq.org, link it to this, bug or create a new one upstream and link it.

This is not a Wine bug, it's a file-roller bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/351429

Wine already asks for the association (that's why it's on the right click open with menu), the problem is that file-roller is already on the system taking that slot.
