Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-webpy

[needs-packaging] python-webpy (0.31)

webpy is an application framework for Python, on which my package (fivedash) depends. The recent release of webpy (0.30) contained a bug that made SSL implementations with mod-wsgi impossible. This has been fixed in 0.31

License: public domain

Notes: a deb package for 0.31 exists at http://ppa.launchpad.net/medigeek/ubuntu/pool/main/w/webpy/python-webpy_0.31-0ubuntu1_all.deb -- debdiff between 0.300 and that package attached

That's not the debdiff, it's a diff file explaining the differences between files. You can make a debdiff using the debdiff command, but it can't be used for this release, since I'm using a new original tar.gz file (i.e. only for patches).

Seeing as this is a package that's currently synced from Debian - it's probably best to get Debian to update this package, rather than to create an ubuntu Delta.

I've submitted a bug to debian, will link here when it's confirmed.

Hi,

The Debian maintainer has updated the package and is just waiting
for sponsorship. We will sync the package once it is updated there.

I'm un-subscribing the sponsors for now. I'll subscribe and deal with the
package once it has been uploaded the Debian.

Thanks,

James
