Update notifier is triggered on livecd saying the is a disc with updates

Binary package hint: update-notifier

On the live desktop you get a popup saying there is a disk with updates on it. This is normally only seen when you put a cd into a system already running ubuntu with the desktop logged in.

This is a regression of sorts.
