update-manager Cannot Calculate Upgrade

Bug Description

When trying to update my packages (Using the current Intrepid repos) i get this error:

Could not calculate the upgrade

A unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:
'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.'

There are no files in /var/log/dist-upgrade. I think the bug lies with MOTU/core-dev not having the correct dependencies in the Intrepid archive yet, not in update-manager.

I'm able to confirm this bug on a fresh Hardy installation, updated to Intrepid.

/var/log/dist-upgrade/ is empty.

Thanks for the clarification.

I reassign this against apt as a request to make the resolver more robust.
