Bug Description

Unlike Ubuntu Restricted Extras and Kubuntu Restricted Extras, in Gutsy Xubuntu does not have an entry in Add/Remove... for its restricted extras.

Hi, I have the same problem. I cant't find the xubuntu-resticted-extras package (how i see in ubuntu guide https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats#head-17f9569280643c3d657d7df670f44c448c95c4fb).

I have selected all ubuntu repository (universe, multiuniverse, ecc....)

Tanis, a temporary workaround is to install it using the Synaptic Package Manager. It ought to be put in Add/Remove... too though.

How long would this take to fix? It's still present in Hardy and has been reported for quite a while now... If needed I can provide a description, title etc.
