Bug Description

Texmate (included in the texlive-latex-extra package) requires version 1.4a of the skak fonts while v1.3 only is included (in the package texlive-games packed with the a.m. package).

Upgrading skak is too invasive. It would need not only the updated of
skak, but also the addition of chessfss. This will not happen.

But the next release of TeX Live will have skak 1.4, chessfss, etc.

Is there any chance that we can "downgrade" Texmate to be able to use the skak 1.3 fonts, or any other feasible workaround solution?
