Bug Description

Binary package hint: telepathy-gabble

It would be good if karmic-updates could contain telepathy-gabble 0.8.9. This release in the stable 0.8.9 branch contains a lot of fixes.
One of them is to use our new proxies.telepathy.im server to get a list of public servers instead of hardcoding them in Gabble.

Some proxy admin complained that suddently a lot of people started to use their proxy (because of the Ubuntu release) so we deployed this new server to have a better control on the public proxies used.

The update is not likely to be uploaded as a karmic sru if it doesn't fix bugs reported on launchpad, note that we did update the list to remove the servers people complained about in a previous stable update
