Cannot uninstall anything with Ubuntu Software Center

Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

The Software Center GUI displays "In Progress (9)" as I expected it to do, but all nine progress bars display "0%" and nothing is happening.

3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

I was able to uninstall "gimp" with ubuntu software center. What package are you try to uninstall?

Thanks for taking time to report this bug and help make ubuntu better. Can you please confirm if this is still an issue for you? If so can you please attach the output from running software-center --debug in a terminal while the problem happens
