hangs when opening a spx file without a working soundcard

I did a testinstall in a VM without working sound and when opening a .spx file the totem window hanged.

When soundhw is enabled all is fine, so this is probably low urgency.

confirmed and gdb shows it's hanging it libpulse code, reassigning the bug

Yes, it's a dupe of 200644, but I don't wish to generate that much spam. It's already fixed in jaunty; we load module-always-sink.
