Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

Hi!

I use Ubuntu hardy 8.04 with last updates. The problem that I tell is very very old.

In the tables with columns (or rows) merged with a colour background (ex, red) evince shows lines on each box.
I attach an example created with OOo Calc.

PS: if you open the PDF with Adobe Reader it shows correctly.

It also happens with the built-in firefox PDF viewer. Tested with Firefox 29.

Please, add Firefox as an affected project.

I thought Firefox built a pdf-viewer using javascript. Why this is also happening? If so, is it possible a problem of "pdf-drawer algorithm"?

Does it happend also with the firefox built-in pdf viewer in Windows?

Oh, I see. Is this "poppler" library, which is who draws the pdf, who is having the problem.
