Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

evince:
  Installed: 2.20.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.20.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com gutsy-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.20.0-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com gutsy/main Packages
Ubuntu 7.10

I viewed several PDF files online, these are local walks, and consist of a map page with the route added in red, and a text description page.

Viewing through Firefox 2 (left-clicking the link) displays perfectly OK. Downloading to HDD and displaying in Adobe 8 also displays OK. But in Evince the downloaded files have a "brick pattern" of dotted red lines over the map image, covering large parts of it.

Properties show creation info as:
Pagemaker 6.5
Acrobat Distiller 4.0 for Macintosh
PDF-1.3

The problem is that clipToStrokePath() is not implemented in cairo backend, so we are filling the whole area with the tiling pattern instead of just the area that would be affected by a stroke.
We need cairo_stroke_to_path() which is not yet implemented in cairo :-(
