Bug Description

Binary package hint: pessulus

Using pessulus 2.26.0-0ubuntu1 under ubuntu 9.04.

I've been working on a kiosk project using matchbox and gnome-panel, and pessulus gives a missing import warning with bugbuddy unless python-gnome2-desktop is installed. Therefore, I recommend that python-gnome2-desktop be added as a dependency for pessulus, as it would have saved me quite a bit of work trying to figure out where the python module for bugbuddy was located.

As suggested I added the package python-gnome2-desktop as a dependency and attatched a debdiff.

thank you for your work, does it work and just display a warning or does it not start? a depends seems not required if it works without it, the upload should also be targetted to karmic and not jaunty

My patch simply added the dependency python-gnome2-desktop as I confirmed that it does not work without that package installed.

By did not work, I cannot say I entirely recall what happened, and it would be rather awkward for me to remove python-gnome2-desktop again for testing. But it certainly was not usable, and I don't think it even opened.
