Bug Description

my system - Ubuntu 7.10, localization - Russian
when I try to insert russian text in pdf file, it's look ok until I press enter to finish inserting. Looks like no codepage support. I've try to change codepage in pdfedit parameters to UTF8, CP1251, KOI8-Ru, but noone works for me.
But if I create pdf in open office and then open it in pdfedit, russian looks ok..
any suggestions?

none source package in repository as i see, only at developer page -->

Not seeing why it was set to "incomplete". This report doesn't seem to be needing any info. Upstream acknowledged the bug as a feature that needs adding.
