Please sync pavuk-0.9.35-2.1 from debian testing. This is a RC bug fix from debian.

hmm I don't have any 64bit hardware, I guess this is what PPA's are for?

With it being so close to intrepid release I am setting this bug to invalid as it would do nothing but introduce regressions into the archive. Would this be the correct course of action?

In http://pavuk.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pavuk/pavuk/src/tools.c?r1=1.12&r2=1.13 the open() call was changed, if that makes it work again, I don't know. The last recorded build in Ubuntu was 2007-10-24.

It looks like that will fix it. It appears that a bracket was wrongly placed in
the current version.

We aren't going to complete this transition for Intrepid, so no need to do this now. It'll happen automatically in Jaunty.
