Bug Description

Binary package hint: packagekit

Package manager 0.3.5 - i get the following pop ups, (screen shot attached) there are hundred of popups and no way of getting rid of them, because they open faster than i can click close

Thanks for the bug report, that looks pretty painful.

I haven't see this, do you have it configured to automatically
install updates?

I get this bug when i go system > admin > update manager > and install the updates
here is my setting (screen shot)
When i run system > admin > update manager > and install the updates

I then get cannot get exclusive lock > the other package manager kicks into life and starts downloading and installing doing doing the pop up thing that i cant get rid of (till the update is completed)

yeah, can you try setting "Automatically Install" to "Nothing" and doing
an update?

yeah that has "fixed" the issue, so it is to do with the automatic install
