OGMRip not installable (merge 0.12.3 with Debian-multimedia.org)

I am wondering if we should do this sync for Jaunty.

I am looking at libdvdread3 as an NBS package and can see that ogmrip needs to be rebuilt, but a simple rebuild isn't enough as it fails trying to find libdvdread. There is a patch to build against libdvdread4 in 0.12.3-0.1 from debian-multimedia.org and 0.12.3-0.2 is the latest version they have released.

Should it be a sync or pull the patches down and try to make a new ubuntu release?

I'll be more for a sync that patches. 0.12.3 is only bugfix release, it should not be a problem.
I'll try to have a look at it, and open a Freeze exception.

Actual version in Jaunty is the 0.12.2. The difference between 0.12.3 (the proposed merge) is mostly bugfix (see changelog.txt).

This version will fix also the rebuild of the package with next version of libdvdread (already in jaunty, see #330684).

This is not a wishlist report. This is a bug!
Atm ogmrip couldn't be installed in Jaunty at least if the ubuntu-restricted-extras are installed.

Yes, I confirm that ogmrip can't be install because livdvdread3 was removed (see bug #330684). This merge have a fix for this.

Since this is a merge, it should have the history of the Ubuntu uploads in debian/changelog. They are missing. Also don't put the maintainer change in debian/changelog. We don't do that anymore.

We want this change, but it needs a bit of cleanup.
