cf. bug 197086.

As a side note, looks like Rhonda will upload the new version to unstable soon (just saw a commit tagging it in the games repo). Should imo get synced then.

@sistpoty:

I used the svn debian dir for 2.4 from debian-games :)

as for nexuiz...releases are always long time cycles...so I think we can just upload 2.4 to the archives, or hopefully 2.4 is coming from debian in a sane timeframe....

Excellent.

About timeframe, I guess I should have been more precise: Soon == in the next few hours (or how long it would take to upload the data package) ;).

ok...

i'll check debian unstable for new nexuiz...I already tested the fteqcc package and it works excellent for building nexuiz-data...

so if no one objects, we can approve this, and I'll file sync reqs for nexuiz, nexuiz-data, fteqcc when they are all in unstable (fteqcc is already)

Any objections?

So, is it going to hardy and gutsy backports?

it will hit hardy as soon as the sync is being worked on.

For gutsy-backports, someone needs to testbuild and testrun it on gutsy... and request a backport.
